Why Heaven is Far Away By: Julius Lester and Joe Cepeda

Why Heaven is so Far Away took me for a loop. This book to me was a little out there. I felt that with talking about serious matters, such as God, the book should be more of a serious tone. It was creative in what they did but it just seemed like a very crazy idea. And I know I may be being picky but some things just seemed off. The author put that the snakes walked back down the ladder. Well in my opinion, you should at least use the correct terms because a child will no doubt pick up on it that, that term is incorrect. To me this wasn't a very well thoughtout book.
